About the Studio
The PianoForte Studio is a holistic music business dedicated to growing musicians of all ages to spur educational growth, developing enthusiastic musicianship that reflects each student’s interests, exploring creativity, and supporting individuality.
The PianoForte Studio’s teaching practices are influenced by Montessori philosophy, classical teaching techniques, and methods passed down from Emma’s previous music guides.
Students can expect to experience tutelage that reflects teaching philosophies like following the child, freedom within limits, fostering an environment of self-correction, encouraging discipline through individual goal-setting and follow-through, and building practical life skills through the means of music practice.
Lessons are held at Emma’s home studio for private students. For students of Bay Montessori School, lessons are held in the library on Bay Montessori’s campus. Bay Montessori alumni and parents are also welcome to join the studio via the Bay Montessori campus.
